How to delete your data
You can leave amacomplex at any time. Here is exactly what happens.
Option 1: ask your committee
Your society committee can remove you under People. Your access ends immediately. Your name is detached from historical gate and billing records within 30 days; the records themselves stay with the society because they are the society's records (for example, that flat A-101 paid its June bill).
Option 2: ask us directly
Email hello@amacomplex.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on your account. We confirm within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. Your login, name, email, phone, push-notification addresses and guest passes are deleted. Records the society is legally required to keep (bills and payments, up to 8 years) are kept in anonymised form.
If you signed in with Google, Apple or Facebook
Deleting your amacomplex account does not affect your Google, Apple or Facebook account. You may also revoke amacomplex's access from those services' settings; doing so signs you out but does not by itself delete your amacomplex data, so please also use one of the options above.
Visitor data
If you visited a society and want your visitor record removed, contact that society's committee, or email us with the society name and the date of the visit and we will pass the request on. Visitor photos are deleted automatically after 30 days regardless.
